4-20-2016 - We were curious and googled ourselves (as you do) and found out that the YH-Wiki is currently the fourth link down on the second page of google results for the keywords "young hercules" with or without quotes (screencaps or it didn't happen). We're currently the fifth link down on the first page of google results for the keywords "young hercules wiki" (screencaps or it didn't happen). Not bad, not bad. But it's my goal to - by this time next year - be on the first page for results for the keywords "young hercules". I'm not sure how I'm going to accomplish this, but I'm sure research will be involved. Wish us luck! - Bryn

1-1-2016 - Happy New Years! Some medical issues knocked me out of commission for the better part of last year, so I didn't get as much work done on the Wiki as I'd hoped. Still, it's a new year and a new chance to reach the goal of completion! Just like last year, our resolution will be to finish posting the episode summaries for the Young Hercules TV episodes and do our darndest to complete the "Dialogue Only" transcripts of the aired episodes. 12-5-2015 - WHAAAAAAAT?!? Ryan Gosling is hosting Saturday Night Live in New York City tonight! Can you believe it? Talk about a dream come true! We'll be uploading the pre-show commercial to the Wiki soon (ETA: see the commercial here), but you can see some of the skits over here on YouTube. Check it out! (ETA: No mention of "Young Hercules" in any of the skits (SAD!) but the only noticeable shout-out to his past works was "The Notebook", so that's understandable. 5-25-2015 - Are you excited? We're sure excited! The official region 1 Young Hercules DVDs are being released next month on June 23rd, 2015! To kick off a month of nail-biting excitement, the YHWiki has teamed up with the Young Hercules University on Tumblr to host the biggest giveaway this side of Thrace! For more information about the giveaway, check out this post on Tumblr. There are five awesome prize packages up for grabs, including DVDs, the soundtrack CD, a poster, a script, buttons, and original negatives from the Young Hercules episodes "Inn Trouble" and "Ares on Trial"! 5-7-2014 - A great big warm YHWiki welcome to Neptunestar who joins the volunteer staff of YHWiki editors! We're happy to have her and look forward to all of the contributions she will make to the Wiki in the future! 4-1-2014 - This just in! The Young Hercules Wiki is proud to announce that today it will be releasing a Special Edition version of the Young Hercules DVDs! This region-free Special Edition will include a Greek dubbed audio track and subtitles, for the authentic feel of Ancient Greece, as well as exclusive content like commentaries from actors Ryan Gosling, Dean O'Gorman, and Chris Conrad, and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage from the set! 1-18-2014 - Taking a break from the daily grind, we've been posting screencaps of YH Alum actors that appear in and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Power Rangers, and Bonjour Timothy. It's like a way-more-fun version of Where's Waldo as we search through the episodes for the characters. Over 100 screencaps have been added since the beginning of the month alone! Also, on this day exactly one year ago, we had 208 Crossactor Shows and Films up for your perusal. Now, one year later, we've found 228 shows and movies that at least two YH Alum actors have appeared in! Wow! Check 'em out! - Bryn

12-23-2013 - Back in July we got our hands on a huge lot of Kevin Smith memorabilia, which included a large binder full of Kiwi newspaper clippings. We've finally had a chance to start getting them scanned and uploaded! Go take a peek at them over in the Newspapers section of Articles, Interviews, & Advertisements! Eventually the text will be typed up for each of them, but until then you can read the high-res scans. When asked "In your career, what is a performance you've given, something that you're insanely proud of, that you're so glad to have been a part of, that you feel maybe not enough people know about, that's not appreciated as well as it should be?" Ryan Gosling answered, "My work on 'Young Hercules.'" We have several more articles posted for you to read! Also, the Articles section has been re-organized by year published, name of publication, and country of origin, as well as by title of article. All of the articles are typed up for your reading pleasure, except for I believe three or four that are so far only cover images - the article text is in the mail and should arrive and be scanned and uploaded within the next few weeks, with the article text typed up shortly thereafter. 3-30-2013 - Unfortunately, the spambot attacks have become overwhelming. Since the YHWiki began on this domain, 18490 spam accounts have been auto-created. The hassle of deleting each of these accounts one-by-one has often taken hours per week, and at this time a decision has been made to lock the registration. We still want people to join the Wiki and become editors, though! If you want to join the Wiki, please email me with a request for permission to edit, along with your preferred username, and we'll create an account just for you! In the meantime, locking down registration has saved us editors enormous amounts of time and exasperation, and we hope to use the reacquired time to bring many new updates and information to the Wiki in upcoming months. 1-18-2013 - Happy New Year! Well, it's certainly been a month for breaking records! We have over 200 (208, to be exact) Crossactor Shows and Films up for your perusal, with more information being added all the time! We've also deleted 10,278 spambot accounts from the Wiki, so it is very important that if you are signing up for the wiki, that you email me with a request for permission to edit, or else your username will be considered spam and deleted. Last but not least, almost all of the Canon Characters have pictures on their bio pages, and End Credits has been updated with all of the credits from all fifty TV episodes! There are many more pages that are being worked on, so stay tuned for many more updates over the course of this year! - Bryn

3-8-2012 - Greetings! I've been doing a lot of work on the wiki over the past week, mostly in the area of character pages. We now have pages for Pelia and Balan from Cold Feet, Lucius and Iambe from Dad Always Liked Me Best and Mommy Dearests, and Pollux and Castor from Winner Take All among others. Also, thanks largely to Alayia, we also have a page for Zylus. This wiki is getting bigger everyday! :D - Ty

Time may pass but our sorrow remains, and our memories of his vibrant life will never fade away. It has been an honor to be fans of this amazing man who was taken from the world much too soon. 2-3-2012 - Yo. Right now I'm focusing a lot on updating the Crossactor Shows and Films page with all the shows I've currently found that feature at least two YH alums. My other current project is to continue working on the synopsises (synopsisi?) of the Season One episodes. Once those are done, I can better flesh out the characters, locations, and items pages. 1-16-2012 - With a new year comes renewed vigor to get some major work on this site done. I'm working my way through the season 1 episodes slowly but surely. Help is welcome, however due to an overwhelming amount of spam over the past few months, I've had to lock down the wiki and approve usernames individually to be allowed to edit. If you would like to help contribute to the wiki, just register and send me an email with your username, and I'll approve you!
