Since it's fairly obvious from the track names where the songs appear in the Young Hercules (Movie Pilot), I'm going to skip detailing that until later.

The following songs were played in the background of these YH episodes:

1.01 - Treasure of Zeus

  • Track "15. Main Title" was used during the Opening Credits.
  • Before Hercules leaves for the Academy, the music playing when Alcmene tells him to stop obsessing over Zeus is "Nile At Night/Free Ramses Now" from the Hercules soundtrack, Volume Four.
  • Track "02. Bathing/Introduction/The Lost Boys" can be heard in part during the scene change from Kora's Inn to Cheiron's Academy
  • While the Phoenix is breaking free from the ashes, and while it chases Iolaus, the song is "Xena and the Big Bird" from the Xena soundtrack, Volume One.

1.02 - Between Friends

  • Track "15. Main Title" was used during the Opening Credits.
  • When the rocks almost fall on the Academy Custodian, and while Hercules is fighting the Phoenix, the song is "Xena and the Big Bird" from the Xena soundtrack, Volume One.
  • Track "02. Bathing/Introduction/The Lost Boys" is used in the scene where Nysus is telling Iolaus and Jason the truth about the phoenix cave.
  • The scene with Iolaus, Jason, and Nysus at Kora's has several tracks, and different portions of the tracks are used in different spots.
    • Fragments of the track 'To Heroes' from Volume 2 of the Hercules soundtrack is used to open the scene.
    • The 'Bath and Scheme' portion of track "05. Slain Warriors/Bath and Scheme/Argonauts Sail" is used when Nysus and Iolaus are talking at Kora's and Nysus is trying to turn him against Jason.
    • "01. Prologue/Ares and Discord" is used in part when Iolaus discovers that his money pouch is missing and he goes to retrieve it. It's most noticeable, though, when Strife comes out from behind the tree where he was eavesdropping.
      • (It took Alayia and me 15 minutes to figure out each track and where it goes. The reason for this is because, with each track, bits were chopped and rearranged. We think we may have gotten it, though. If we're wrong about any of this, do let us know. ~Ty)
