- After Ares strikes up a deal with Demeter to 'borrow' a nightmare from Morpheus, he uses the nightmare to send the cadets to The Dreamworld. This vortex is what pulls them out of the real world and into the Dreamworld. However, Hercules successfully opens up another vortex to allow the cadets to safely escape back to the Academy. Hercules's dark side tries to follow and leave Hercules stranded, but he is intercepted - First by Jason and Iolaus, and then by Hercules himself.
