Déjà Vu

Ever have that sensation like you feel like you've seen something before? Well, you probably have. Several props, locations, and other stock footage that was used in Young Hercules was originally used in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. Here's a few things you may or may not have noticed:

Young Hercules (Movie Pilot)

• The domed entrance to Cheiron's Academy was also used in HtLJ "4.13 - Armageddon Now (Part 1)" and X:WP "3.10 - The Quill is Mightier".

• The Argo is the same ship used in 1.05 - Girl Trouble as Zared's Ship. It has also been spotted in X:WP "2.08 - Ten Little Warlords".

1.01 - Treasure of Zeus

• Fake Skourous wears an armor chestplate that is nearly identical to the one worn by the Floating Suit of Armor, and is the same as the armor worn by the Spartan Envoy.

1.05 - Girl Trouble

• Zared's Ship is the same ship used in the Young Hercules (Movie Pilot) as The Argo. It has also been spotted in X:WP "2.08 - Ten Little Warlords".

1.10 - Cyrano de Hercules

• The song bird Hephaestus sees when looking for a present for Galatea was originally from HtLJ "4.08 - ...And Fancy Free".

1.11 - Battle Lines I

• The Qu'ho or Centaur council building was seen in X:WP episodes "1.07 - The Titans" and "2.02 - Remember Nothing".

1.19 - The Lure of the Lyre

• In the chase scene in the woods, footage is reused from X:WP "2.04 - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", including the wolves and the forest shots in strange colors.

1.20 - Fame

• The Dryads burrowing through the sand is recycled footage from H:TLJ "3.01 - Mercenary", only in that story, it was sand rays burrowing beneath their feet. The same type of footage is also used in 1.43 - The Beasts Beneath.

1.22 - A Lady in Hades

• The estate that was used for the Elysian Fields was also used for the wedding scene in H:TLJ "2.21 - The Wedding of Alcmene".

• The lake where Hercules and Jason cross over into the Underworld was used for the bathing scene in Young Hercules (Movie Pilot).

1.24 - Dad Always Liked Me Best

• The white robe that Pollux wears is the same robe that Hercules wears in Mila's dream.

1.27 - Mommy Dearests

• The Gold Cup with Silver Meander is also seen on the prince's table in 1.35 - My Fair Lilith, as well in H:TLJ "6.05 - Hercules, Tramps & Theives" and "6.06 - City of The Dead".

1.33 - Con Ares

• The armor worn by the Spartan Envoy is the same as worn by Fake Skourous, and is nearly identical to the one worn by the Floating Suit of Armor.

• Cheiron's Academy can be seen in the distance not too far away from Timor's Uncle's Farm - it is uncertain whether this is intentional or not - probably not, as Discord's head is quick to block the view. Also it is hard to tell from this viewpoint, but the lake shown in the background is probably The Pond.

1.35 - My Fair Lilith

• The Gold Cup with Silver Meander is also seen on the prince's table in 1.27 - Mommy Dearests, as well in H:TLJ "6.05 - Hercules, Tramps & Theives" and "6.06 - City of The Dead".

1.40 - Iolaus Goes Stag

• A good deal of the deer hunting footage of the deer itself was reused from X:WP "6.06 - The Abyss".

1.43 - The Beasts Beneath

• The footage of the sand sharks burrowing through the sand is similar to the Dryads in 1.20 - Fame, which is recycled footage from H:TLJ "3.01 - Mercenary".

• Also, the sand sharks themselves are recycled footage from H:TLJ "3.01 - Mercenary".

1.44 - Parents' Day

1.47 - Mila

• The white robe that Hercules wears in Mila's dream is the same robe that Pollux wears.
