Rewind: Ryan Gosling on 'Young Hercules'

Back on April 15, 1998, a young Ryan Gosling was busy training for his lead role in the TV show "Young Hercules."

The series lasted 50 episodes between 1998 and 1999 and was actually a spin-off of the popular show "Hercules" starring Kevin Sorbo.

When asked what he thought this starring role would do for his career, Gosling said, "I don't know what it will do for my career per se. It's just going to be wonderful. Whatever happens career wise, if I never work again, then I never work again."

Gosling would go on to star in films like 'The Notebook' and 'Lars and the Real Girl.'
