• The bowl of Hind's Blood belongs to Hera. Hera provided it to Stregna when she sent Stregna to kill Nemesis.
• Blood from a Golden Hind is the only thing that can kill a god, and very little is needed - even a scratch, if infected with Hind's Blood, is lethal to a god.

1.47 - Mila

• When Mila sees that Ares is limping, he explains that he was wounded with a knife dipped in Hind's blood.
• When Mila says that she thought Hind's blood was fatal to a god, Ares bluffs that "usually it is", but that he was able to get the poison out before it spread, leaving him weak.
