Hercules and Galatea

• History: After talking with Hercules about what makes a woman who she is, Hephaestus gets the idea to build himself the perfect woman. Galatea had a will as strong as bronze, a heart of gold, and unwavering loyalty. However, when she awoke and the first face she saw was Hercules', she became smitten with him. Her feelings were very much unrequited, with Hercules doing everything he could to get her to notice Hephaestus instead. After a jealous Hephaestus used some magic powder to make Galatea hate Hercules, it causes her to attack and try to kill him. The love triangle ends when Galatea, her metallic body too heavy to be supported by the already-rickety and broken bridge, falls to her death.
