Hephaestus and Galatea

• History: After talking with Hercules about what makes a woman who she is, Hephaestus gets the idea to build himself the perfect woman. Galatea had a will as strong as bronze, a heart of gold, and unwavering loyalty. However, when she awoke and the first face she saw was Hercules', she became smitten with him. Infuriated, Hephaestus dragged Galatea away and used a magic powder on her that would make her hate Hercules. When it causes her to attack Hercules, Iolaus, and Jason, though, he does what he can to help them. Their relationship ends when, too heavy to be supported by the frail and broken Rope Bridge, Galatea falls into a ravine. Though Hephaestus remarks that he never should have made her in the first place, he also remarks that it still hurts that she is gone.
