Called the Exterminator of Thebes, Buterus is hired by a man named Proaax to assassinate Jason before he can be crowned king of Corinth. Unfortunately for him, his assassination attempt falls during the Academy's Prank Days, when everyone at the Academy is trying to pull a prank on the soon-to-be graduate Jason. Thus, his best attempts fail at every turn, particularly when Hercules, Iolaus, and Lilith grow wise to his plot.
