Chloe, secretly Hera in disguise, appears almost from nowhere at the finish line of Hercules and Jason's chariot race. Tearfully, she tells them about the Ghidra that attacked her village, prompting them to (along with Iolaus and, later, Medea) go after the creature to keep it from causing any further damage. Though Hera does not cast off the disguise when confronting them later, she does reveal who she actually is.
