Cheiron's Academy

Cheiron's Academy is located near Corinth, and is a school for young men and women to be educated in both scholarly pursuits and fighting techniques. It is a half-week's walk from Athens.

Staff: Cheiron is the Headmaster. Fiducius is the Bursar. There is also a Custodian and a Cook.

The Academy contains a pig sty and some stables, and has its own well and dormitory. A large wall surrounds the entire Academy in case of attack.

Training Partners

• In 1.01 Treasure of Zeus, Jason and Iolaus are wrestling on the main gym floor.
• In 1.01 Treasure of Zeus, Hercules spars against Nysus Gaius using padded quarterstaffs on an elevated lattice.
• In 1.02 Between Friends, Iolaus spars against Nysus Gaius using padded quarterstaffs on an elevated lattice.

Sleeping Arrangements

During the Season 1 episodes, the dorms of the Academy are set up as bunks against the walls of a long hallway, one bunk closer to the floor with the second bunk on a raised platform inset closer to the wall. The bunk assignments change over the course of the season.

• In the middle of 1.02 Between Friends when Strife is eavesdropping, Jason sleeps on the bottom bunk, with Hercules in the top bunk above him. Nysus Gaius sleeps on the top bunk on the opposite side of the hallway.
• At the end of 1.02 Between Friends when Hercules and Jason sneak back into the dorms, Jason sleeps on the bottom bunk, with Hercules in the top bunk above him. Iolaus sleeps on the bottom bunk on the opposite side of the hallway.
• In 1.13 Forgery, Hercules sleeps on the bottom bunk, while Lilith sleeps on the top bunk above him. Hercules sets his bed on fire while being under the influence of the Fire From The Heart Of The Earth.
• In 1.34 Get Jason, Hercules sleeps in a top bunk.
• In 1.34 Get Jason, Jason sleeps in a bottom bunk.
