The Pond is a body of water that lies along the Road To Corinth. Only the Gods know what mysteries lie within its shadowy depths.
1.03 - What a Crockery
Hercules, Iolaus, and Jason walk past the pond on their way to Zeus's Temple to return the Chalice. There is a patch of wild melons growing nearby.
1.13 - Forgery
Hercules is on his way to Corinth and is passing by the pond when Hephaestus stops him. In an attempt to douse the fire inside Hercules before it destroys him, Jason tells Iolaus to pretend he can't swim and throws him into the pond, not realizing that Iolaus really can't swim. Hercules, unable to even stomach a drink of water while consumed with the fire inside him, wars with his instinct to save his friend. In the end, Hercules manages to quash the fire possessing him and dives into the pond to save Iolaus from drowning.
1.15 - Ares on Trial
Hercules, Iolaus, and Jason are fishing in a boat when Ares appears. Iolaus and Jason are blasted to the shore during the fight, and by the time they wake up, Hercules and Ares are gone and the boat has been shattered. Jason dives into the pond to look for Hercules, but the pond is too deep for him to see the bottom.
