Timor is the nephew of a farmer. He's clumsy, awkward, and just happens to look exactly like Ares. Hercules and the others, in order to keep Strife and Discord busy while Jason negotiates a peace treaty between Thebes and Sparta, convince him to dress up and act like Ares, teaching him how to fight and how to act like the god. When the real Ares shows up and nearly fries Timor's uncle, the no-longer-quite-so-timid Timor stands up to him, calling him a 'joke' and a 'bully'. Later, Timor (still posing as Ares), 'appears' at the negotiation and tells the two armies not to go to war.
