Corinthian Games

The Corinthian Games are an event that takes place in episode 1.17 Winner Take All. It appeared to be the Corinthian equivalent of the Olympic games.

Events include:

• Sumo wrestling
• Shot-put
• Javelin
• A 3-man relay race
• Archery

Former events include:

• The Pankration- Dropped from the Corinthian Games after Pollux injured another competitor in the Olympic Pankration so badly that he was left paralyzed from the waist down.

Note: The pankration was an athletic event in the Greek games, including those of Corinth's Isthmian Games. This is often translated as "all-in fighting" (from the words pan=all and kratos=strength), where any method of attack was allowed except eye-gouging and biting, and contests often ended in serious injury or death.
