Shiny Sword and Shield

• Crafted by Hephaestus, these weapons are made of his own special alloy - "three times as strong and twice as light as Phoenician iron." The metal is magnetic, so if the sword is dropped or thrown, it will be drawn back to the shield. The metal is fire-proof, which makes it "great for fighting dragons".
• These weapons were given to Hercules by his brother Hephaestus, after Jason cut his previous sword in two.
• Hercules gave back the weapons to Hephaestus, saying that "All they bring is trouble." Hephaestus decided, "Well, in that case, I don't want them either!" and melted them down in his forge.
