- To inflict dreams (and nightmares) upon unsuspecting mortals, Morpheus uses a deck of cards. Presumably, each card gives a different dream or nightmare. For example, the one that is used on Hercules allows an evil version of himself to terrorize the Academy and its students.
Trivia
- The dream card used on Hercules bears a strong resemblance to the Death Card in a traditional Tarot deck (though the Death Card almost never signifies actual death).
