Ethiopia is a country located in Northeast Africa. The name of the country, though, was used by Herodotus to refer to all countries south of Egypt. According to Pliny the Elder, it comes from Aethiops, one of the sons of Hephaestus.

In Young Hercules

When Hephaestus builds a Greekified coffee machine, Kora becomes addicted to the drink. When explaining what it is, she tells Hercules and the others that the beans to make it came from Ethiopia.
