Why You Would Go: Tagine head chef Ben Benameur serves up Moroccan cuisine in an intimate, romantic setting ideal for date night and just a credit card's throw from the trendy shops along Beverly Hills' Robertson Boulevard.

Why You Should Go: Savory, sweet, and exotic spices intermingle in traditional dishes like bastilla, quefta, and lamb with dates and honey. Plus, the Crazy, Stupid, Love star shows up at least a few times a year, and has even been known to wait tables now and then.

Scene-Stealer: The generous seven-course tasting menu, culminating in a dessert of chocolate soup and apple tarte.

Price: If you spring for the tasting menu and drinks ($170), it will set you back the equivalent of about 10 full-price copies of The Notebook on DVD.
