Stolen by the thief Mavorb while Hermes slept, these shoes enable the wearer to move extremely fast. When Mavorb wore these shoes for the first time, he was able to run around the trunk of a tree twice in the time it took to flip a coin in the air and catch it.
The shoes were quickly retrieved from Mavorb by Nemesis, who placed them on a rock before Hera, where they disappeared (presumably returned to Hermes).
