The metal is magnetic, so if the sword is dropped or thrown, it will be drawn back to the shield. The metal is fire-proof, which makes it "great for fighting dragons".
- These weapons were given to Hercules by his brother Hephaestus, after Jason cut his previous sword in two.
- Hercules gave back the weapons to Hephaestus, saying that "All they bring is trouble." Hephaestus decides, "Well, in that case, I don't want them either!" and melted them down in his forge.
