Recipe
This recipe was contributed to the Young Hercules University by cadet Ty.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (since I cannot drink milk, I substitute with a non-dairy alternative like soymilk or almond milk)
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream (again, can substitute for a non-dairy alternative)
- Chocolate syrup or powder to taste
- A dozen or so fresh cherries, halved and pitted. If you don't have fresh cherries, you can substitute canned.
- Several ice cubes
Instructions
- It's very simple. Throw all of your ingredients into a blender, pulse to your favorite consistency, and enjoy.
- Other things you can put in if you don't like cherries-
- Strawberries (six of them, halved)
- Half a banana (peeled and sliced)
- A glop (roughly 1/4 cup) of peanut butter
- Half a banana *and* a glop of peanut butter is quite nice. :)
- Warning- This stuff may cause brainfreeze. Drink slowly.
