Formerly the king who sent seven young men and women to the minotaur's labyrinth every 9 years, Minos became one of three judges in the Underworld after his death. His is the deciding vote on whether someone goes to the Elysian Fields or to Tartarus. When Hercules and Jason arrive to plead Eurydice's case, Minos had not only sent the former bacchae Sarah into Tartarus, but had ordered that Eurydice be thrown in as well.
