- When Hercules asks Cheiron for advice on how to defeat Bacchus, Cheiron mentions that 'the undead can only be defeated by their own'. Thus, Hercules and Iolaus go to the desert to hunt down a dryad, a skeletal monster with bat wings. They slay the monster and collect a few of its bones to use as a weapon against Bacchus.
