King of [[Athens]], acquaintance of [[Jason]].
King of [[Athens]], acquaintance of [[Jason]]. He and a small entourage of soldiers track the Amazons to [[Cheiron's Academy]], where he attempts to reclaim them as slaves. During the Combat by Champion, he elects Hercules to fight against Cyane. He is forced not only to release them, but to abolish slavery in Athens entirely when Hercules makes that his one request for winning the fight.
