By trade, Arges is a blacksmith. However, he is not very good at what he does. When a client threatens to take his business to Hephaestus next time, Arges goes on a rampage to find the god, who is staying at [[Cheiron's Academy]] at the time. He finds Hephaestus and, with his portable bellows/flamethrower, tries to destroy him. He is defeated, though, when Hercules uses a boulder to plug the flamethrower's nozzle, and is last seen shooting into space.
