At Jason's urging, the villagers of his newfound community take a stand against local bandits, and Jason's ability as a leader is put to the ultimate test. 
* Unsure that he has the ability to rule Corinth, Jason disappears and turns up in a village being terrorized by a warlord.

Jason runs away when the pressures of his upcoming coronation interfere in his plans to have some fun. While on his own, Jason stumbles onto a traveler in need of assistance and helps. He stays with the farmer and his daughter and help them harvest their crops.

While staying there, a warlord arrives and threatens the village. Jason helps the villagers defend themselves by teaching them how to fight. At the end Hercules, Lilith, and a Corinthian party arrive to "rescue" Prince Jason. Jason returns to Corinth. Hercules and Lilith return to the academy.
